Due compilazioni sui primi passi dell'elettronica mondiale; lacunose entrambe (la prima ignora del tutto gl'Italiani, tra cui Bruno Maderna e Luciano Berio) e con alcune dimenticanze gigantesche (Pierre Boulez, Henry Pousser); tuttavia esse hanno il pregio di comprimere e far assaggiare in poche ore alcuni gioielli della nascente nuova musica e serviranno da preambolo per incursioni in tale campo (di cui abbiamo esaminato i pionieri Russolo e Schaeffer).
